ゲームヤロウでは、同社の運営するゲームポータルサイト「レッドバナナ」にて提供中のタイトルにおいて、利用規約に反する行為を行うユーザーの監視とともに、違反行為に対してアカウント処分や一時停止などの厳正なる処置を行ってまいりました。また、2008 年10 月31 日には規約違反行為のあった約11,000 アカウントに対する一斉停止処置も実施しております
。
しかしながら、現在に至るまで違反行為を行うユーザーは存在を続けており、特に海外ユーザーによる違反行為によって、他ユーザーのゲームプレイに悪影響を与えるケースが未だに発生しております。
2007 年10 月のサービス開始より「レッドバナナ」では日本国内に向け提供すること、海外からのアクセスに関してはサポート外とすることを利用規約にて明示しておりました。さらにこのような現状を改善し、今後もより多くのユーザーのみなさんに楽しくレッドバナナをご利用いただくため、本日12月11日、レッドバナナ利用規約の一部改定を行い、海外からのサ
ービス利用の一切を明確に「禁止行為」とすることにいたしました。また同時に、弊社運営業務担当者と日本語によるコミュニケーションが取れないユーザーがサービスを利用する行為についても禁止といたします。
